To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Returns & Warranty Policy

Thank you for shopping with EV Car Charger. We want you to be fully satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not happy with your order, we’re here to help.

We operate in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Product images on our website are for illustrative purposes only and may not exactly represent the item received. We reserve the right to update product images and specifications without prior notice.

Online Returns Policy

  • Returns are only accepted for products purchased directly through EV Car Charger.
  • You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, with or without a reason.
  • Once cancelled, you have another 14 days to return the item(s) to us.
  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the return.
  • Deductions may be made if the product’s value is reduced due to damage or handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the item.

📌 Proof of purchase is required and verified through your online transaction.
💳 Refunds are issued only to the original payment method. If that account no longer exists, please contact us for further assistance.

Items Not Eligible for Return

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Personalised products (e.g. custom logos or customer-specific modifications)
  • Items that are used, incomplete, scratched, or damaged
  • Products that have not been stored or used according to the provided instructions
  • Products repaired or altered by anyone other than an approved professional
  • Returns with no return reference or clear identification
  • Faults resulting from a customer-supplied design or specification

Warranty Information

All products purchased from EV Car Charger come with a 1-year warranty, covering faults due to defects in materials or workmanship.

To Make a Warranty Claim:

  1. Contact us at contact@evcarcharger.store or call us on 0333 090 694 to report the issue.
  2. If the return is approved, we’ll issue you a Return Authorisation Number (RAN) – this must be clearly written on the return packaging.
  3. We may offer a prepaid return label (UK only). If not, return postage is the customer’s responsibility.

If your product is found to be faulty:

  • We will repair or replace it free of charge.
  • If a repair or replacement isn’t possible, we may offer a refund of the depreciated value.
  • Replacement items may be refurbished or include refurbished parts.

Warranty Exclusions

The warranty does not apply in the following cases:

  • Damage from shipping, installation, or incorrect use
  • Products used or maintained outside the instructions provided
  • Modifications or repairs by unauthorised persons
  • Removed or defaced serial numbers or identification labels
  • Installation or repair by someone other than a qualified electrician

Any repair work must be carried out by a competent, qualified electrician. Failure to do so will void your warranty.

Shipping & Returns Postage

  • If your product is found to be faulty, return shipping is free.
  • If you send the item back yourself, we will reimburse up to £9.50
  • If no fault is found after testing, you may be charged for:
    • Return postage
    • Inspection and testing
    • Admin and handling fees

Your Legal Rights

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
EV Car Charger does not accept liability for:

  • Loss of income, business, or time
  • Business interruption or loss of opportunity
    Our products are supplied for domestic, private, or light commercial use only.
